We define personal care as a service that a consumer would normally perform themselves, but for which the consumer needs physical assistance secondary to advanced age, infirmity, physical, or mental limitation. Personal care may include providing assistance to a consumer with his/her Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) or Independent Activities of Daily Living (IADLs).
